Great for small goldfish
I use this fish hideaway in an Aqueon MiniBow 1 aquarium for five small goldfish. It’s small. The simulated cave, consequently, helps to destress them. Mine began to explore it about two hours after they were put in the tank.Goldfish grow, tear up plants, and get messy (AKA They poop a lot). Large tanks are suggested. This setup uses a water filter and an air stone to compensate. Later, a timer for the LED light will lower the risk for algae buildup.Find a design that looks good and works for your aquarium. The hideaway will be worth the investment.

Well made, perfect size.
This ornament is well made and should last for years. The fish love it and often seek it out for some solitude. A nice addition to my tank. I think that it’s a good buy for the money.

Great item, just MAKE SURE that your fish can’t become wedged between it and the tank wall.
Great addition to betta tank, BUT be careful that it’s not too close to the wall of your tank or anything else. My betta Murphy loves it, but he did get stuck between this and the wall of his tank. I happened to be there, so he is fine. I just didn’t think about that being an issue.

My Betta really likes this cave! – Recommend👍
I just set up my first fish tank with a Koi Betta and he seems to love this cave! He loves to swim though it or take a little pit stop in it. The opening is large enough he easily fits in it and large enough that we can see when he is in there. I will probably order another for the other side of my tank.I do recommend a good soak and rinse before putting in the tank and check for sharp edges that may need filed down before use.

Great for fish, but be careful with frogs.
Very cute! No rough edges and well made. My grandson’s african dwarf frogs took to it immediately as their sleep pod and play room. Highly recommend!Update: Had it about a week and one dwarf frog became stuck underneath and almost drowned. I was lucky to be in the room and see him struggle. I think it’s safe for fish, but not for super small reptiles.

It looks really nice in my 10 gallon aquarium. My fish love to hide in it. I was a bit worried about how rough it felt when I first received it.I rinsed it and it was fine. No roughness to it.

Perfekte Größe Lieben die Fische sich darin zu verstecken.Habs vorher vorsichtshalber gründlich abgespült. Kann euch die Sorge hier aber nehmen.Alle nach 2 Monaten noch am Leben. Kein billigmaterial, Wertarbeit.Wasserwerte unverändert.

It’s not a good size for a cichlid at all. I do have 8cm + fish but the cave is too tiny even for a small one. Maybe a baby but why would you bother since they’ll grow so quickly. I’ve order another set of caves similar but I’m praying they are bigger or the whole expense is not worth it at all. Why can’t they make them bigger? Cave dwelling fish tend to be the size mine are in their maturity so it’s sensible
