Best treat ever—for my CAT
I got a sample of these from the check out stand at my local pet store. I was buying CAT FOOD and thought I’d throw a sample in the bag. When I got home, I put the samples on the table with everything else. My cats are NOT allowed on the counters or tables. Next thing I know, my male cat had jumped on the table and knocked the samples to the floor and began devouring them. Needless to say, he LOVES these treats. And, they are more healthy than most. Caveat: they are a bit large for my much smaller female cat. So, I cut them in half for her. She loves them too!!!! And, I don’t feel like I’m giving them junk food treats like a lot of the others.

i wasn’t sure if my dogs would eat the chicken hearts but i wanted to get them something nice and it turns out they’re OBSESSED with these!! definitely gonna get some more for them. they make good food toppings or reward treats and are perfect for my small dogs to eat; not too big or small. one of them is picky with her food and treats and will take a minute to try something new but not with these; she gave it one sniff and ate it immediately. VERY impressed with this brand and their products! 🩶

Favorite treat of cats and dog
My dog and 3 cats all go absolutely crazy for these treats! I’ve been buying them for years and even have them set up on auto ship. They are consistently one of their favorite treats, and I like that there is only one ingredient in them. Some bags do arrive with a lot of broken pieces or crumbs, but if this happens I just transfer the crumbs to a cereal container and use it as a treat topper on their wet food. They still love it!

A Hit with Dog and Cats!
My dog and cats love these things. I keep a treat jar on the desk in my home office to bribe them to hang out with me while I work (I’m not proud), and now I’m constantly having to swat them away. My cat Pesto loves the beef liver ones so much he knocked the treat jar over and ate all of them, plus quite a few of the chicken ones. Anyway, it’s a good way to treat my dog without rendering her obese, and the cats loving them too has been a fun bonus. They’re not gross in smell or texture like I feared they’d be; they’re pretty much odorless, and they’re quite dry, but not overly crumbly.

Good treat for training and potty rewards.
Pups liked them for the most part but prefer chicken treats best. These were decent priced, but as with all freeze dried items, you just don’t get much. Pieces were good size for the most part. Most were about pea size. Had lots of crushed up powder in the bottom of the bag. Cats were trying to take them before the dogs could get them. Had a weak scent but they did smell like beef liver. I know because I eat beef liver too.

My Picky, Low-Motivation Dog Is Obsessed — This Bully Stick Is on Another Level
This Vital Essentials bully stick is honestly amazing. My dog is not a big chewer — she’s a grazer, barely motivated by treats, food, or chew toys. We’ve bought tons of bully sticks on Amazon and she usually loses interest fast… but not with this one.Check out my uploaded video to see what I mean.She is obsessed. She’ll chew it all day, carry it around the house, and even bring it with her on walks — literally keeps it in her mouth the entire time. She has never reacted like this to any other bully stick we’ve tried.Because she’s chewing it constantly, it’s also doing an excellent job at cleaning her teeth, which is a huge bonus.For picky dogs, this is the one. If your dog usually sniffs a treat and walks away, try this — it might surprise you like it did us.My only complaint?It’s pricey and only comes in a 4–5 pack. I wish they offered bulk options because my dog would go through a 20-pack without hesitation.Honestly, Vital Essentials… if you ever want to sponsor my dog, I’d happily post weekly videos showing how crazy she goes for these bully sticks!It doesn’t smell at all…. Love these for my dog
For the size you get a lot in the bag, very good quality, sometimes the hearts are thick and sometimes they’re small. The smell is minimum if you aren’t putting it up to your nose and sniffing it. My dog eats these very easily. I would say this is a safe source of nutrition.

Our Border Collie adores these treats. Just beef liver…no additives. Freeze dried, too. They are airy light in weight. Tiny squares for the most part. No sharp parts at all. A few times when I was out of meat to top off her rehydrated food I have used 8-or-9 pieces of this as a topper and I get no dirty looks saying “You forgot my turkey or ground beef.” She scarfs it all down.No training now for our older dog, but I can see these being great training treats.
