Great little coat!
This coat is perfect for rainy days. I bought it mostly for the bright yellow color and sizable hood, as most dog raincoats had tiny hoods that wouldn’t even go over a dog’s head. The reflective strips are a nice touch. The material is good quality. There is a little hole for harness loops to go through, though it would not work with a standard collar with the hood up. I bought a size Medium for my 13-lb Cavalier King Charles pup. The length seems perfect and hood covers his long ears, though he has plenty of room in the girth area. He’s a thin boy, and this coat would also fit a much porkier pooch. There does seem to be a sight issue for him with the hood up, as he has no peripheral vision and it seems to make him a little uneasy, but I think that is something he could get used to and is made better when he is on a leash next to my feet. I also can’t say enough about how freaking adorable he looks in it!! He may not agree, LOL.

Inaccurate sizing, runs small
This is a cute, good quality rain coat but the sizing is off. Our puppy is around 11 lbs and measures around 13″ in length from shoulder to base of tail. We got the small since it stated it would be 10″-14″. When the raincoat came it fit our puppy width wise, but the length seemed too short. It was a few inches above the base of the tail. I measured the rain coat from the base of the hood to the end of the rain coat and it was only 9″. When we put the hood over our dog, the rain coat got pulled up close to the middle of her body. You should definitely size up one size if your dog is bordering between sizes as the raincoat runs small. We exchanged it for a medium and now it fits our dog perfectly length wise but the front of the rain coat drags a little near her feet when she walks when the hood is pulled up. When the hood is off the raincoat doesn’t ride up to the front. She stands around 9″ tall measured from her shoulder blade to her feet. I’ve attached photos of my dog in the medium sized raincoat for reference.

Great and Durable Rain Slicker
I love this rain slicker. With the non-stop rain lately in VA, I was in need of a rain coat for my dog. He’s a 16.8 lb Schihon and I purchased the Medium. He wasn’t a fan of walking in the rain until I purchased this slicker.The slicker is roomy enough for his harness and/or clothes and there’s a hole at the top to thread a leash. It has two velcro snaps. One around the waist and the other around the neck so it’s very easy to take on and off. The hood stays in place and it looks great on him. The slicker is lightweight and made of durable material. It’s reflective as well.I definitely recommend this rain slicker to keep your dog nice and dry.

I really wanted it to work out.
I spent a while looking on amazon for a raincoat for my dog and settled on this one. I have a 6lb chihuahua who is 15 inches long from neck to butt and 15 inches wide around her biggest part. This raincoat was exactly long enough, but way too big everywhere else. I’m afraid that if I went for a small it would have been a better fit but would have still left a lot of her back uncovered. I tried to hem it to where it would fit better on her and was successful in making it fit around her waist, but there was so much fabric in the front from the skirty part and the hood that it just ended up being really heavy and bulky at the front. I think next time I look I would forgo any raincoats with the skirt front, It’s a great idea but I don’t think it would have worked out even if I sized down.All of that being said the quality of the raincoat is fantastic! There is no weird smell which I saw people complaining about in the reviews on some of the other raincoats. It would probably be good for a dog as long as mine but with twice the girth.

Pretty Darn Adorable.
I got an XL for my 40 lb pitbull/terrier/jack russell mix, and an M for my 11 lb poodle/terrier mix. I got sizes in between just to make sure I got the right fit, and was surprised that my little one ended up as an M. The coat covers her full body length, and fits well around her stomach. The hood actually fits quite well too, I do fold a bit back like a “visor” so she can see better- but it fits her so well overall it’s almost uncanny watching her walk around with it on as she looks pretty much human. The larger one, the pitbull mix is very barrel-chested so the velcro barely covers the width of her middle, though the size is right since the length does cover her from head/neck to butt. It’s not an issue, I can get a piece of velcro to extend it if I wanted- her hood though does not go over her head as neatly as the little one, but that’s just the size and shape of the dogs I think. I think the raincoats are really adorable and the dogs seem pretty proud of themselves to put them on. They have a little spring in their step when they are outfitted with these, though it is gray and rainy outside. I’d recommend these for sure and for the price they are a bargain.

Excellent Rain Coat
These are great. Made from a really sturdy material, and they look cute too. They also have a hole in the back for the leash. I followed the sizing chart and got a medium for my 18lb dog, and it fit perfectly. The back of the coat doesn’t extend all the way down the back. This is standard for dog raincoats. I don’t know why. But if you get a larger size so it does extend completely but then have an incorrect fit, that’s why. I absolutely love this little coat. My boy was not a fan of the hood, but I think it would be serviceable. The only issue I have with the coat is my boy will not go to the bathroom in it! Ah well. Still a great product on its own. Will offer to the neighbor.

Great Dog Slicker!
Just received this yellow dog slicker/raincoat for my pug.. Tried it out yesterday evening for the first time as it was raining here in Ohio. The quality of it seems very durable yet lightweight too. It’s not cumbersome like some coats are. She doesn’t mind it at all. It fits her perfectly & is adjustable. She’s not crazy about the hood over her hear, but I just tucked it inside. Perfectly waterproof. She wasn’t wet at all other than her feet when we returned home. I know we’ll have a long time to use this & I’m sure it’ll hold up well.

the sizing is on the small side. I have a small Beagle (10kg) and the Medium size a bit snug/too short and the neck a bit tight. I can make it work with the velcro.

Comprei a capa de chuva e quando peguei o produto achei muito bem feito e fiquei ansioso para testar usar no meu cachorro num dia de chuva. Mas logo que peguei a etiqueta vi um aviso que dizia que o produto contém ftalatos. E no mesmo aviso dizia que essa substância que no estado da Califórnia é considerada perigosa por causar câncer, problemas de nascença e problemas reprodutivos. Nunca tinha ouvido falar nisso e fui pesquisar e vi que existe em diversos produtos que usamos. Além de perigoso para humanos também é perigoso para animais. Especialmente se eles tem contato com a pele, são inalados (porque dizem que esse produto químico continua soltando seus gases noviços mesmo após a fabricacao do produtos, por isso sentimos esse cheiro de plástico tão forte) e contato com a pele.“O aumenta a maleabilidade do plástico, sendo também utilizado em solventes de perfumes, hairsprays, produtos plásticos, lubrificantes. Conforme o técnico, este produto pode causar danos graves à saúde humana, por danificar o sistema endócrino”Agora como é que após ler isso vou usar um produto que vai ficar em constante contato com a pele de meu cachorro e o cheiro inalado por um longo período?Estou desapontado e de certa forma me sentido lesado. Basicamente fiquei com lago inutilizado. Além de ter me feito refletir sobre diversos outros produtos que dou para o meu cachorro. Tipo bolinhas é brinquedos de plástico mais maleável. Que vários contém esse químico. Basicamente se tiver dizendo que é feito de vinil ou PVC, e se tiver esse cheiro de plástico característico, ele pode ser muito nocivo para a sua saúde, da sua família e do seu animal.Eu comprei sem saber, mas espero que os próximos que lerem essa avaliação consigam evitar esse gasto de dinheiro e evitar esse risco de saúde.
