It is a good product to clean my dog’s ears, I saw it in a You Tube video, it leaves a good smell but it is not to treat infections, it is just for general cleaning of the ears. So far everything has gone well, she has not had any allergies, I would have liked more if it had some medicine, but I know that it can also be a delicate issue, when you have infections it is better to consult with the vet, applying any product can cause greater damage.

Works okay but my homemade recipe worked better.
I have 2 Golden Retrievers and they need a lot of attention for their ears. This was an okay cleaner and smells very good. I like the ingredients a lot. It just didn’t work as well as I had hoped. A homemade recipe by Dr. Karen Becker using ACV, H2O2, witch hazel, colloidal silver (optional) and essential oils (optional) did a better job at cleaning the thick brown gunk and the ears stayed clean for longer. Mine aren’t fond of having anything poured into their ears either. So I just soak someone gauze or cotton pads in the solution in a glass jar and then use the soaked pad to wipe insidethe ear. On a side note, this stuff is great for hotspots or skin irritations.

used it twice so far to clean two different dogs ears. Both had quite dirty ears and this cleaned them out really well. Next day neither had smelly ears and there was no redness. one dog had a small scratch in their ear and I think it stung a tiny bit. Be mindful not to use on broken skin!

I like that there is nothing that will irritate the ear canal – like stinging alcohol or water that makes the ear damp. My dropper doesn’t work the best as I can’t get more than 1/2 a vile but am finding that is more than enough to clean my labs ears with anyway.

I have a cocker spaniel mix with long floppy ears, with lots of hair inside. I only pluck/shave the hair near the top of the canal, no plucking deep down. We’ve tried at least 5 different dog ear cleaners (2 from the vet, others store bought) and this is the only one we’ve been happy with. The vet ones always irritated her ears more, and other store bought ones didn’t really loosen debris or had super harsh scents. I love the ingredients of the Kin + Kind, and my dog doesn’t mind having it put in her ears and massaged in. We use it after every bath or swim, and it works very well. Just wish there was a bigger bottle size option!
