The most efficient brush for golden retrievers
Previously, I used the metal brush and my dog would tolerate it for a while but then get up and leave and not allow me to Brush it at all. Then I purchased this FUR4 Dog Brush. This brush is very good! I used it on my 70 pound golden retriever and I was so impressed with how much of the under coat came off so easily. It didn’t hurt him, he allowed me to brush him for 20 minutes without walking away. Then, I did a test by checking to see how well it worked on my neighbor’s dog who is a short haired small dog. The Brush worked very well and we were both surprised how much of the undercoat came off. That dog is very sensitive and doesn’t liked to be brushed. After about 5 minutes and the quantity of undercoat that came off, my neighbor said she was going to buy the smaller brush for short haired dogs. This Brush is actually worth the money. Thank you for inventing it!

It doesn’t pull hair out like others I’ve used
This brush is a little stiff and it’s a little awkward to use but all of my animals love it. My one dog is not a fan of getting brushed but, he will sit there and let me brush him with this. It does work like the other deshedding ones but, it does not pull out the hair like those do maybe because they’re metal? It gets the dirt out and makes them feel soft.

Lightweight, comfortable, and fast!
You can tell it was made with quality and comfort in mind compared to a lot of the other knockoff grooming tools. Super lightweight and safe to use without the metal teeth, but just as effective. The sturdy case will also keep it protected and clean, and with no moving parts durability is not an issue. I think 4 combs makes it little unwieldy, 3 probably would have worked as well, but either way brushing out my dog definitely took less time so that makes two completely satisfied customers!

Gentle and very effective!
This “rake/deshedder” is so much better than I thought it would be. Works better and more gentle than the “furminator” types. I like that it covers a large area for every stroke in comparison to others. I have a German “shedder” dog and bought it to use specifically while she is blowing her coat. Was not/am not disappointed. I almost did not buy it based on the price but since it was returnable, I took a chance and glad I did. Worth every penny!

Disappointed
I used this on a husky with really bad knotted Fur..not my dog it was my uncle’s and I ordered this brush in hopes that I could use it on her to clean her up and gently pull some of the knotted clumps out but it simply do id nothing. It worked a little bit on the longh bushy tail butreallly ineffective on the body..I was extremely disappointed.. I ended up having to take clippers and cutting off the clumps.. aS for brushing as a maintenance routine on an already well groomed dog I don’t know about the but that’s what it probably works best on.. not de shedding a dog who is in need of a serious grooming apt.

We have 2 boarder collies and this brush is awesome. Does not scrap the skin and they did not fight us to use it. The dogs loved the brush and it took off all the dead hair. Highly recommend

Works great, dog loves it
I have a husky and have used every type of dog hair brush known to man. This one is the best by far. It pulls so much hair out and is easily cleaned. The dog actually seems to enjoy itI couldn’t recommend this anymore.
